ACS Rating Successfully Completed by Avinor Trainees

Twelve trainees from Avinor, who commenced their Air Traffic Control training at CANI in Prague in September, have achieved a significant milestone in their professional development. Following the successful completion of the Basic Training phase, they have now also completed the Area Control Surveillance (ACS) Rating course.

The intensive 17-week programme, delivered between January and April, combined advanced theoretical instruction with complex simulator-based training. The curriculum included structured assessments, mid-course evaluations, and a final rating examination to ensure the highest training standards.

Each trainee completed a minimum of 123 practical simulator exercises, demonstrating the level of competence, discipline, and focus required for this stage of training.

The journey does not stop there. The trainees have now progressed to the Approach Procedural Surveillance (APS) Rating, continuing their path toward full qualification as Air Traffic Controllers. CANI is proud to continue supporting Avinor in the development of air traffic control expertise and remains grateful for the strong partnership and continued trust.

Congratulations to all participants on this outstanding achievement, and we wish them continued success in the next stage of their journey.
