ATSEP Basic Training (ATSEP BASIC)
Course Design
The course is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge of all domains required for ATSEP. It covers all shared parts of ATSEP Initial Training, i.e. complete Basic Training and shared domains of Qualification Training.
To complete the entire Initial Training, students shall also pass the Qualification Training according to their future specialization.
Course Objectives
Students shall gain the fundamental knowledge of the CNS/ATM environment and skills applicable for ATSEP. The course provides students with an overview of the most important systems, equipment and procedures within the CNS/ATM environment, as well as the role of an ATSEP and his/her responsibility.
Prerequisites
Intermediate level of English
Course Duration
10 days (72 lessons)
Course Content
The course is designed around classroom teaching. Additionally, live demonstrations, simulator exercises, site visits to ATC units and CNS facilities are included in the course. Students will be provided with appropriate textbooks and additional materials in English.
There is a final test at the end of the course.
