The simulator is designed to meet the needs of the early phases of the training process for air traffic controllers, including the theoretical phase of training. It can be used as a demonstration tool to teach students at independent working stations the basic radar skills required of an air traffic controller, and is also capable of complex simulation exercises.

A wide variety of parameters are considered for all aircraft types utilized by the system, e.g. horizontal and vertical speed, engine performance (accelerate/decelerate), speed on final approach, etc. Weather data is displayed and affects the running simulation, and it can be changed any time.

Thanks to the intrinsic adaptability of the software, a new airspace with a series of several aircraft can be developed in a matter of minutes. Additionally, new navigational aids or runways can be added during an active simulation and they can be used as soon as they have been created.
