Course objectives	The aim of the course is to introduce participants to a range of legal terms and vocabulary and help them to acquire the specialist knowledge concerned with contract formation according to international law and commercial practice at all levels of responsibility.
Prerequisites	an intermediate level of English (level B1 according to CEFR)

Course content	legislation introduction - illustration of legal regulations legislation (commonly used expressions describing the content of any law) identifying legal terms and understanding legal vocabulary the concept of commercial law law of contract basic elements of contract : agreement intention to create legal relations valuable consideration law making capacity of the parties capacity to contract: minors, mental disorder contracts for necessaries contracts of service void, voidable and unenforceable contract purchase of non-necessary goods loans and guarantees form of contracts and the contents of contracts contracts which must be by deed contracts which must be in writing contracts which must be evidenced in writing express terms conditions and warranties incomplete contracts standard form contracts implied terms courts
