Area Control Surveillance Rating with Radar Endorsement (ACS)

Course objectives

The student shall after the approved course, have the knowledge and skill required, in accordance with international regulations, to obtain, after successful On-the-Job-Training for Area Control Surveillance Rating with Radar Endorsement.

Prerequisites

Entrants shall have successfully passed a Basic Training program in accordance with the syllabus for the training of Air Traffic Controllers.

Minimum course duration

10 weeks

• lessons:2 weeks
• simulation: 8 weeks (min. 70 exercises/student)
• mastery tests: 10 hrs
